I have had this theme song stuck in my head on and off for 20-something years. I must have seen this show maybe once. I couldn’t recall anything about it beyond the theme song—and after watching this intro, I still have no recollection of any of it. Apparently it’s about a guy who does things.

Kick-Ass 2
Just read Kick-Ass 2. Wow. That was not fun at all. Extremely dark and brutal. Little to no humor. Really hoping they re-wrote much of it for the movie version, otherwise I’m not paying to watch that.
Grim fantasy about kids playing superheros starts to incorporate rape, child murder, mass killing of innocents… let’s reel it in a little, huh? It seemed to be making some sort of statement about a need for “real heroes in dark times,” but Jesus, let’s consider the medium and the method for a second here.
Cleveland, Newtown, Boston, Aurora… keep this shit out of my comic books if you’re not going to approach it with a little tact. Time to seek out a new writer for a while.
